This show is so fun! Carly Shay is a teenage girl who lives in a really cool loft with her older brother Spencer, who is a funky artist.  She and her friends -- the loud but funny Samantha and tech-genius Freddie -- create and produce their own web show called iCarly. Filmed in Carly and Spencer's apartment, they create their weekly show full of jokes and laughs. They encourage kids to send in videos of themselves showing off their talents, tricks, and more. In real life, we can go onto the iCarly website and submit our own videos!

While Carly is often in the middle of the constant joking and rivalry between Sam and Freddie, the three friends together go through many experiences that are entertaining to watch. The show depicts the normal everyday life of a young teenager, such as crushes, school, and even getting a job (as Sam does in the episode iOwe You), but also the difficulty with running and managing a website show.

Carly is a strong girl who knows what she wants and how to get it. She is motivated and loyal to her friends. Living with no parental supervision, she is a very responsible and a good role model for doing what you love to do and what makes you happy. Her adventures with her friends, such as attempting to find a pie recipe to cure their cravings after the best pie shop owner in town dies (in the episode iPie), show us the three working together to reach a common goal. With no parents really in the picture, we get to see what it is like living with no parental supervision, which is different since many of us are not living on our own yet.

Sure to make you laugh, this show is really fun to watch and makes you want to keep watching more to see what Carly, Sam, and Freddie will think up next! With this particular DVD of Season 2, not only is there the first 11 episodes, but also some extras such as 'Behind-the-Scenes' and the making of the TV movie 'iGo to Japan!'
